There is no need to panic, however, because even though these reporting delays do occur, they have no impact on your search rankings .
For this reason, Google wanted to officially inform all “Some Search Console reports are currently a bit more delayed due to issues in the reporting pipeline”, adding, however, that these delays have no impact on search rankings.
But which reports are delayed? We have done some testing and even though Google says that we may experience delays on AMP , Rich Results / Structured Data , Hreflang, Index Coverage and Mobile Usability, we have actually seen that not all reports are experiencing delays.
For example, the mobile usability and AMP reports are both chicago business delayed by a week, while the index coverage report is only delayed by two days, which is the normal delay expected for reports published in Google Search Console.
Should we worry? Google tells us no, because it is only and exclusively a reporting problem that does not affect searches. So the ranking should not be affected by what appears to be only a timing issue.
When will it be solved? At the moment Google is not committing itself also because although an official statement has been issued on the ongoing anomaly, delays and interruptions of service of the Google Search Console are not that rare.
Google has said that it will “let you know when things are back up to speed.” All SEOs and webmasters will now have to wait for Google to let them know when things are back to normal.
It seems useless, therefore, to immediately check next Monday if the situation has changed, with the awareness that if there are reports to be delivered to customers, delivery will most likely have to be postponed by a few days.Bing Asks SEOs to Help Improve Its Crawlers
